Yvonne joined the staff of the Owen Graduate School of Management in 2003 and oversees all marketing and communications programs for the school. Since arriving at Owen, she has brought the school's various marketing initiatives into a centralized, coordinated effort and spearheaded a comprehensive branding and identity campaign encompassing all advertising, print and electronic marketing materials, including the Owen web site. After earning her MBA at the University of Southern California, Yvonne began her career with Lawry's Foods, a division of the Thomas J. Lipton Company, serving as consumer promotion manager and later as product manager on established and new products. While at The Walt Disney Company, her work on strategic alliances for the Disney Channel with McDonald's, Kodak, Procter & Gamble, Mott's and the Children's Miracle Network earned her recognition as a "young promotional star” by Adweek
. Yvonne also worked as marketing director for NationsBank, a predecessor to Bank of America; TCS/Aspect Communications, a B2B telecommunications software firm; and Progeny Marketing, the direct-response marketing arm of Cendant, Inc. She shares her experience, expertise and her personal passion for marketing’s ability to “move the needle” with Owen students, both inside and outside the classroom.

Brett joined Owen's Marketing and Communications Department as the Director of Business News and Communications in 2015. Brett comes to us from Georgia Tech, where he was a public relations professional in the central campus news office and a writer for the award-winning Research Horizons magazine. He pioneered coverage of Georgia Tech’s scientist explorers, blending innovative storytelling, video and web design to bring these adventures to life in the newsroom. Brett was responsible for having Georgia Tech's research featured in media outlets such as CBS Evening News, New York Times, NPR, Washington Post, PRI, Vox, BBC, Los Angeles Times, Associated Press, Reuters, USA Today and many others. Brett has nearly a decade's worth of experience in science and communications. He is a former journalist, most recently a senior editor and staff writer at Environmental Health News. As a reporter he was recognized as one of the best young journalists in the nation, was part of an award-winning series on environmental justice, and his reporting literally changed the formula of Gatorade. Brett also has a passion living his own adventures — on weekends you can find Brett and his wife cycling the Natchez Trace or trail running around Tennessee.

Amy joined Owen’s Marketing and Communications team in 2013 and leads marketing for the Executive Programs, including Executive MBA, Americas MBA for Executives, the Executive Development Institute, Custom Programs for Organizations and Master of Management in Health Care. She has a well-rounded background in marketing including both agency and corporate experience in the healthcare, retail, food service and packaged goods industries. She brings a unique perspective to the Owen marketing team having managed international business relationships and handled brand life cycle management, integrated marketing and product development with Fortune 500 companies. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, frequenting local restaurants and making it to the beach as often as possible.

Alicia joined Owen’s Marketing and Communications team in 2015. She leads the marketing efforts for all Career Launcher Programs including Accelerator®—Vanderbilt Summer Business Institute, Master of Marketing, MS Finance, Master of Accountancy (MAcc Assurance and MAcc Valuation). Prior to Owen she was a freelance writer, editor and marketing consultant. She worked for Lifeway Christian Resources for almost 10 years in various roles ranging from marketing, event coordinating and editing. She spent her early career as a marketing professional at several companies in the music industry. In her spare time, Alicia enjoys being with family and friends, watching Netflix and exploring new places. She is a coffee enthusiast, avid reader, aspiring novelist and fan of all things baseball.

Kristina joined Owen’s Marketing and Communications team in 2015. She leads marketing for the MBA program, the Career Management Center, Owen’s Leadership Development Program and the Development and Alumni Relations team. Kristina began her career developing brands and marketing strategies on the agency side before crossing over to marketing for corporations and top business-to-business service providers. She also has a wide-range of nonprofit marketing experience, including work she completed while living in Germany. Prior to coming on board full-time in 2015, Kristina was already a part of the Owen family working for the Marcomm team. In her spare time, Kristina enjoys time with her family, serving as a mentor for teenage girls and exploring the world.
Marketing Operations Manager
MBA—Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management
Mary joined Owen’s Marketing and Communications team in 2012 after graduating from the Vanderbilt MBA program. As the Marketing Operations Manager, she leads and coordinates strategic initiatives across all programs, including large-scale email communications, digital marketing and list purchases. In addition to helping manage the operations and implementation for individual marketing campaigns, Mary is the “orchestra conductor” and project manager for school-wide projects including a website rebuild. Prior to becoming the Marketing Operations Manager in 2016, she led the marketing for the one-year masters programs for undergraduates and recent grads. She began her career as a pre-calculus teacher, and later made the switch to marketing. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, who she met during Owen orientation, and their two boys.
Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator

Ann recently rejoined Owen’s Marketing and Communications team in August of 2014 as the Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator. She began her career in office management, working in accounts receivable and payable. But in the last several years, she has switched her focus to graphic design and web content management. Prior to Owen, she was working as the office manager for All Phase Exteriors and Davis Tool and Die, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, spending time with her husband, photography and loves being an aunt. Ann is an avid college football fan and can often be found cheering on her favorite teams in the fall. She was born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi.
