Interview Process

We want to get to know you.

  • An evaluative interview with a member of the Admissions Committee is required of all applicants before we can extend an offer of admission or financial aid.

  • While we encourage you to meet with an Admissions officer in person, telephone interviews are acceptable and given equal consideration in our evaluation.

  • Regardless of your status in the application process, we encourage you to schedule an interview in conjunction with a campus visit.

  • Interviews are a great way to share your story. Through the interview, we hope to hear examples of the types of experiences you have had in both your personal and your professional life to get a sense of your demonstrated record of achievement, your interpersonal and communication skills and your focus.

You can request an appointment for an informational or evaluative interview online by sending an email to Campus Visit Coordinator. Campus visits are usually scheduled Monday through Thursday while classes are in session, but not during exams. Please check the Academic Calendar before you schedule your visit. Although classes are not scheduled on Fridays or during exams, breaks or holidays, you are still welcome to visit and interview with an Admissions officer during normal business hours.

Interviews are usually scheduled Monday through Friday during normal business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT) and in conjunction with recruiting events. Interviews typically last 30 to 40 minutes. Please dress in business professional attire and be prepared to provide a current resume to the interviewer because your application file may not be readily available.
