This Open House will provide you with information as well as access to admissions counselors and students from each of these programs proven to swing the odds of landing a job in your favor.
Accelerator®—Vanderbilt Summer Business Institute
is a four-week semester that’s like an internship on steroids. Learn the fundamentals of business through real-world consulting projects with companies such as Coca-cola, FedEx and Habitat for Humanity.
Vanderbilt Master of Accountancy (MAcc)
leads to careers with one of the global professional services firms that are considered the “best places to launch a career.” This one-year program offers professional development and hands-on experience through the opportunity for a paid internship with our partner firms Deloitte, EY, Grant Thornton, KPMG and PwC.
Vanderbilt MAcc Valuation
gives you the credentials to successfully enter this fast-paced field. Our one-year program prepares you for a career at the nexus of accounting and finance, and our partner firms offer opportunities to intern with the world’s leaders in professional services.
Vanderbilt Master of Science in Finance (MSF)
opens doors to careers in corporate finance, investment banking, sales and trading, asset management or investment research. Consider our nine-month MS Finance program for great career coaching plus flexibility in choosing MBA electives to meet you individual career goals.

- Dana Hambly, CFA, joined Stephens Inc., a Little Rock, AR-based investment bank, in February 2012 as a Research Associate on the Healthcare Services team and was promoted to analyst in January 2013. Prior to joining Stephens, he was a research associate at Jefferies & Company from 2006 to 2011 covering various healthcare sectors including healthcare services, healthcare IT and distribution. Dana holds a B.A. from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
- Tami Orrange is Director of Talent Management at RANDA Solutions--an INC. 500 data and application development firm based in Nashville that serves the public education sector. Tami has more than 15 years of recruiting experience, with specialties in human resources, information technology, telecommunications and product engineering. Prior to RANDA, she served as Vice-president of Talent Acquisition for technology recruiting firm teknetex.
- Holly Thomas is Director-National Tax Strategy and East Region, Campus Recruiting for KPMG in Atlanta. Holly works with leadership at KPMG’s tax practice to determine overall campus recruiting strategy. She also oversees execution of the firm’s campus recruiting strategy for audit and tax and manages a team of some 50 full-time campus recruiting professionals. Her more than decade of recruiting experience with KPMG has armed her with a keen sense of the career landscape and skills and attributes firms are seeking among college grads. Holly’s BBA is from the University of Georgia.
- Ethan Dunham, EdM, MBA is a consulting executive who applies dual expertise in business and education to help people, groups and companies solve problems and overcome challenges. With over 10 years of experience across private and public industry, Ethan specializes in organizational development and design, innovation, leadership development, strategic planning and execution, conflict resolution, systems-level problem solving, team and program leadership and curriculum design. Ethan is the co-author of “Working in Teams: Moving from High Potential to High Performance” and is also the co-author of “Burn Your Resume: How to Ignite Your Exceptional Career.” Ethan earned his bachelor’s degree at Carleton College, his EdM at Harvard and his MBA as a 2009 Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society graduate of Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School.
