Mission Statement: The mission of the Social Impact Pillar is to act as the central clearinghouse for the coordination of external community-related social impact projects within Owen. We work with students and community organizations in three different areas:
1. Environmental Action
2. Community Based Action
3. Philanthropic Action
Our purpose is to formally coordinate Owen’s external efforts with socially responsible organizations. We will administer these goals on 2 fronts:
1. Use our efforts as a formal recruiting tool to attract socially responsible potential students to Owen.
2. More efficiently utilize the various skills within the different clubs to work with external socially responsible organizations.
