Started in 2005, The St. Patrick's Day Bash is an effort to grow 100% Owen's efforts to many different graduate schools. In its first year, the event drew 500 people and raised close to $4,000 for the local Boys and Girls Club. The idea behind the event is simple, have a great party for a great cause.
The inaugural event saw involvement from the Law School, Medical School, and Nursing School with generous support from both local and national businesses. Moving forward, 100% Owen hopes to build off the success of last year 's event, making the 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Bash bigger, better, and more charitable. All proceeds from the party go to support the 100% Owen Scholarship Fund, an effort designed to help send a local Boys and Girls Club member to college.
