The first session of the Dean's book club discussed the book
The Post-American World by Fareed Zakaria. Dean Jim Bradford guided the conversation. The discussion began with students introducing themselves and giving a quick summary of their background to understand each others perspectives. Students then debated how accurate Zakaria's portrayal is and what they see as the future of the United States' place in the world and the postitives and negatives of globalization.
