Yum! Brands - KFC \| 2008 Yum! Brands, Inc., based in Louisville, Ky., is the world's largest restaurant company in terms of system restaurants. Four of their restaurant brands – KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Long John Silver's – are the global leaders of the chicken, pizza, Mexican-style food and quick-service seafood categories. The Accelerator project challenged teams to create a marketing plan for KFC that broadened its market appeal to younger consumers without alienating their traditional customers. The project focused on a communications plan with a younger demographic of consumers including menu, service and customer experiences, as well as how the restaurants look, feel and function.
