A Concentration at Owen represents a minimum of 12 credit hours beyond the Core, in a single discipline that is usually the foundation discipline for the student’s chosen career.
With a total of 62 credit hours required for the degree, 22 of which are committed to the Core, the student has 40 hours remaining to dedicate to one or two Concentrations with ample opportunity to pursue complementary electives or an Emphasis in a particular field.
