My Dream Job
I will be working as an analyst in the multifamily group for the Western United States at Archon. I'm thrilled to be doing what I want in Dallas, Texas, where I grew up. This is absolutely my dream job, and I would not have been looked at twice without being in the MS Finance program. Working for a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs in the industry that I wanted is beyond what I could have imagined.
Setting New Goals
Because of the MS Finance program and what it's allowed me to accomplish, my goals for life have only increased. I want to be a successful leader in the real estate industry, and the MS Finance program has equipped me for that.
The Vanderbilt Reputation
By being in the MS Finance program, we have the huge benefit of being able to use the Vanderbilt name. Vanderbilt is very well respected, and saying that you're studying finance at Vanderbilt opens doors.
A Supportive Administration and Faculty
Amy Achterhof Johnson, the MS Finance program director, has been tremendous. She has worked tirelessly to perfect our resumes, help us with interviewing skills, and provide us with advice when offers come. Owen is known for its finance professors, and having access to professors like Hans Stoll and Craig Lewis deeply enriches the experience.
