Maps & Directions
Owen is located about one and one-half miles southwest of downtown Nashville. The area surrounding Owen features a number of major hotels and can easily be reached from Nashville International Airport via taxi, limousine, Gray Line shuttle or Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority. By car, Owen is approximately 15-20 minutes from the airport.

From the airport:
Follow signs for Interstate 40 West toward Nashville for about six miles to Exit 209A (Broadway). Turn left on Broadway, crossing over the interstate. At the second light, take the right fork in the road (West End Avenue), and then turn left onto 21st Avenue. Owen is the orange-red brick building on the right at the intersection of 21st and Grand Avenues. For parking, go straight through that intersection to the next light and turn left onto Scarritt Place.
Parking:
Public parking is available for $8 per day (cash only) in Wesley Place Garage, just across the street from Owen on Scarritt Place. Public parking is scarce on campus and typically limited to only 30 minutes in a metered space. Parking regulations are strictly enforced in the garage and on campus.
Ground Transportation:
Gray Line Airport Express Shuttle Service is available to many of the hotels listed below. Shuttle buses leave the airport every 15 minutes from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The fare is about $12 one‐way, or $20 round‐trip. Tickets may be purchased at the Gray Line service desk on the ground transportation level. Taxis cost about $25 each way between the airport and either downtown Nashville or the Vanderbilt/West End area. Taxis between the below-listed hotels and Owen are relatively inexpensive and cost approximately $10-$12 each way.
Nashville International Airport (BNA):
Nashville International Airport served nearly 10 million passengers in 2008. Airlines that serve the airport include: American, American Eagle; American Connection, Continental Express, Delta, Delta Connection, Frontier, Northwest, Northwest Airlink, Skyway/Midwest Express, Southwest, United Express, US Airways, US Airways Express, and Air Canada/Jazz.
