Owen Women’s Business Association

All women at Owen are members of the student-run WBA, whose mission is to provide opportunities to exchange ideas, network and develop strong business leadership skills, ensuring success while at Owen and long after graduation. WBA events consist of social gatherings, community service work, and networking and professional events. Examples of past activities include Faculty/Staff dinners, breast cancer awareness campaign and fundraiser, Happy Hour, Winter Break Book Club and a speaker series. Admissions and Scholarships

Events

Owen Women in Business Symposium
This event is especially targeted for individuals interested in learning about the challenges and opportunities facing women in business. Hear firsthand from students and alumni on what life is like as a woman in the Vanderbilt MBA program and in post-MBA careers. A corporate guest speaker lets participants know why businesses value diversity and gives advice on how to succeed. Come learn more about Vanderbilt's commitment to diversity.

Tennessee Economic Summit for Women
This annual meeting of female minds focuses on motivating, appreciating, and elevating women in business. The event includes dynamic speakers and diverse networking opportunities.

National Association of Women MBAs National Conference

This conference and career fair is designed to assist women, both students and professionals, as they continue along the journey to develop and enhance their leadership skills.
