A message for late applicants:
Our partner firms are impressed each year with the outstanding graduates they hire from the Vanderbilt Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program, so we are still accepting applications for the Vanderbilt MAcc audit track that begins August 2012*.
Apply here and make sure you have completed (or sign up for this summer) the following prerequisite courses at an AACSB accredited school: intro to financial accounting, intro to managerial accounting, statistics and microeconomics.
If you have any questions about applying, please contact us at macc@owen.vanderbilt.edu.
*U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents only
Selected applicants are invited to interview with the MAcc program director, either over the phone or in person, depending on where you are located.
2nd round interview/campus interview event:
After the first round interview with the MAcc program director, selected applicants will be invited to join us in Nashville for a second round interview and campus visit during one of our campus interview events:
Discover Weekends are weekend events (Friday evening to Saturday evening) and are a great opportunity to learn more about the MAcc program. Applicants will meet representatives from the MAcc partner firms (Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, KPMG and PwC) and interact with current students, faculty and staff involved with the program. Applicants will also have a chance to experience the collaborative community offered at Owen, with social activities designed to introduce prospective MAcc, MS Finance and MBA students to one another. As part of the evaluative interview process, applicants will interview with the MAcc faculty director during the visit.
The MAcc Open House events are weekday events and are a great opportunity to learn more about the MAcc program. Applicants will meet representatives from the MAcc partner firms and interact with other applicants, current students, faculty and staff involved with the program. As part of the evaluative interview process, applicants will interview with the MAcc faculty director during the visit.
Welcome Weekend is a weekend event (Friday evening to Saturday evening) specifically for admitted students. This weekend is a great opportunity to get to know and interact with fellow incoming students, as well as to learn more about what to expect in the program and about living in Nashville. Students will also have the opportunity to meet members of the MAcc partner firms during a reception and panel discussion.
Applicants invited by the Vanderbilt MAcc program to a campus interview event who are receiving a travel reimbursement should wait to hear from the Admissions team, as we may direct bill with the hotel and book your reservation on your behalf.

Do you have these questions?
- Is there any advantage to applying in an earlier application round?
- Can I attend one of these events or do I have to receive an invitation?
- What if I just wanted to visit campus/meet with the program director?
