The Net Impact group at the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management is hosting a day-long symposium on profitable environmentally and socially conscious careers and the new sustainable economy. The Careers with Impact event will take place at the Owen School on March 21, 8:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Panels will include topics such as the green building industry, corporate social responsibility, leading non-profits, sustainable investment, creating a fulfilling career, marketing sustainability and social entrepreneurship.
Speakers and panelists from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, FedEx, Brown-Forman, Centerstone, Grey Matters Capital, International Paper, Crosland Developers, Thistle Farms and more will take part in the event.
The symposium is the finale of “green week” at Owen, which includes a local business showcase, Percy Priest Park clean-up and a recycling drive.
