Fall Break Trip to Istanbul

“Recently, 18 students from Owen, accompanied by Professors David Parsley and Mumin Kurtulus, spent a week in Istanbul learning about Turkish business. After touring two universities, the Istanbul Stock Exchange, the largest telecom company in Turkey, a Turkish private equity firm, and the Turkish equivalent of Yahoo!, the students took a cruise up the Bosphorus River and toured through the city’s historical sites including the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.”
