Jackalope Brewery Event

On Wednesday, February 8, Cork and Barrel and the Women's Business Association hosted a joint event at Jackalope Brewery, Nashville's newest craft brewery. Bailey Spaulding, a Vandy law school grad and Robyn Virball, a Harvard alum started Jackalope in April 2011 and spoke with Owen students about the thrills and spills they encountered while opening the successful brewery as two women entrepreneurs in a male dominated industry. The sold-out event was a hit with craft beer lovers and entrepreneurs alike. Owen students got to tour the brewery and sample many of the seasonal selections available at Jackalope. The Grilled Cheeserie, arguably, Nashville's best food truck was there to provide hungry Owen students with gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches to finish off a great night.
