Vanderbilt Americas MBA for Executives
Get the return on investment of a Vanderbilt MBA.
The Americas MBA, designed for working professionals who have (or aspire to) senior-level responsibilities for global organizations, is an outgrowth of Vanderbilt’s highly regarded Executive MBA. Americas MBA students can expect the same
strong return on investment and much more.
Experience intensive 10-day residential immersions.
Year Two is comprised of 10-day residencies in each of four countries—Brazil, Canada, Mexico and the United States. Vanderbilt’s
partner schools in the Americas MBA Alliance have been selected for their expertise in the core business issues and strengths of their country as well as a deep understanding of international trade, particularly within the Western Hemisphere. Each school has a carefully crafted curriculum and supplemental activities designed to allow Americas MBA students to both “learn” and “live” the culture of that country.
Complete an international strategy project with a cross-equator cohort.
A hallmark of the Vanderbilt Executive MBA program is the
year-long Business Strategy Sequence that takes place throughout the second year of study. The primary feature of the sequence is a consulting project with a client company that runs throughout the year and is completed during the summer. The Americas MBA cohort will be divided into cross-border teams; each team will be challenged to share their experience and insight, and call upon all of the tools and concepts learned to date and build an integrated strategic plan for a real client company that has identified specific business challenges in the Americas.
Earn the Americas MBA Alliance Certificate.
In addition to earning a Vanderbilt MBA, graduates of the Americas program will earn a certificate, jointly issued by the four partner schools of the alliance—a great accomplishment to showcase on your resume.
