Course Description:
Covers the accounting and financial issues faced by rapidly growing start-up firms. It deals with accounting systems, cash planning systems, and financial issues managers must handle for the firm as it grows its annual sales from zero to 20 million. Students learn how to dissect a term sheet that investors may offer, how to locate sources of startup funds, and how to select the right investor. This course does not count for credit toward a Finance concentration, Prerequisite: MGT 311. [2]
