Foreign Exchange and the Global Monetary System

Course Description:
Addresses the economics of international financial markets. Topics covered include: balance of payments accounting, the Eurocurrency market, exchange rate and interest parity concepts, the determination of exchange rates, and the impact of exchange rate movements on, for example, foreign investment, stock markets, and inflation. May be taken as a Finance elective.
