Course Description:
This course is designed to help MAcc students with previous audit-related coursework develop an in-depth understanding of the audit services market. The focus is (1) the nature and value of external audits of corporate financial statements, (2) the structure, conduct, and performance of the public accounting profession, and (3) the conceptual and practical problems external auditors face.
