Course Description:
Analytical methods and the decision-making process. Transportation studies, travel characteristic analyses, and land-use implications applied to surface transportation systems. Emphasis on trip generation, trip distribution, modal split, and traffic assignment. Computerized planning programs are used. Prerequisite:
225, Transportation Systems Engineering.
