I knew a MAcc degree would undoubtedly propel me towards my short-term career goal of working for a Big Four accounting firm. The Vanderbilt MAcc program specifically facilitates the achievement of this short-term objective via the spring internship portion and the reputable professional network the program maintains.

The program was exactly what I was looking for: designed for liberal arts students, offered an internship during busy season, had a small class size, located in a great city, and integrated Becker review at end of program so that I could pass the CPA exam before beginning work full-time. It also enabled me to get a competitive master’s degree after only one year. What also attracted me to this program was the dedication of the staff and professors to prepare the students for getting internships and a full-time job by the end of the year.
