Resume-Building Activities
BrandWeek
BrandWeek is a four-day intensive immersion into the world of brand management. The week includes an interactive workshop and a three-day/two-night road trip to meet with marketing and HR professionals at companies such as Brown-Forman, Humana and GE. Marketing executives present their perspectives and practices on such topics as brand architecture, global marketing, social media, product innovation, multi-channel promotion and client/agency relationships.
Marketing Capstone/The Brand Group
This class provides second-year students with the opportunity to gain marketing experience, build their resumes and earn course credit while serving as adjunct brand managers for real clients and their marketing initiatives. Projects are of specific interest to students who desire a brand management or other marketing role, including areas such as social media strategy, customer relationship management, new product development and advertising/promotion.
